Thunderbird for iOS

Welcome to Thunderbird for iOS! This project aims to bring the Thunderbird email experience to iOS devices. Thunderbird for iOS is a ground up development effort to create a high-quality email client tailored for iOS.

Current Status

This repository is at an early stage of development. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Development Focus: Establishing the app’s architecture, backend integration, and foundational features.
  • Functionality: Not yet functional or ready for production use. Key features like reading and writing emails will follow in future stages.
  • Vision: Design a mobile email platform that enhances user efficiency through focused triage, seamless desktop integration, and a suite of productivity-enhancing services.

Contributing

At this stage, the project is still being built from the ground up. While it might not be ready for active contributions yet, here’s how you can help:

  • Report Issues: Use the GitHub issue tracker to report ideas or potential problems, helping us refine the vision.
